Annual Meeting

Our 2012 Annual Meeting was held at the Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans, LA, March 21-24, 2012.

The theme for the 2012 meeting was "Shifting Social Contracts". For more information on the theme, please read President Beth Rubin's announcement in The Southern Sociologist here.

Submissions-
The deadline for submissions has passed.

Membership and conference fees-
You must be a member of the Society to attend the conference. Please click here for information about membership and conference fees or click here to go directly to our online payment system.

Hotel Reservations-

The hotel conference rate has now expired. For reference purposes, the room rates were:
Single/double rooms: $179 per night
Triple rooms: $204 per night
Quad rooms: $229  per night

Applicable city and state taxes are 13 percent plus $2 per room per night occupancy tax.
